No shit you can mix your own stuff. But that level of picking at your own work will ruin it. Kanye is respected cause he do that on his own, and hova got kanye. Drake got 40. Wayne got somebody I'm sure. Now I love curren$y, but you mix on your own chances are it's going to come out like that, so w huh ile is it may be good it can't reach that universal level of greatness.
