red lobster in general is like the fancy restaurant for dirt people

that pretty much answers both angles.

its viewed as dirt because its just a random chain like applebees or whatever for seafood, but since there isn't a bunch of seafood spots in alot of the country its viewed as fancy by people who don't know better
