True in a sense...but if i limited it to that criteria we'd have maybe half the entrants qualify? A couple people in havent battled inawhile too, so rust is a factor, laziness etc. Also extended it to topical heads who rarely battle, and ppl who've only done things on other sites etc....they're not technically 'rookies' but had to push the boundaries a bit to lessen no-shows & have 16. I think it balances out tbh. Like any tourney effort will count as the gap in skill isnt so huge imo. Also, noone in has a previous battle accomp, which is the main thing to consider.
