Word, that's what I'm fearing as well. I would highly advice you to read The Watchmen comic, they touch on so many things you don't really get time to think about in a movie. That said tho, Lost in Space could be some real weirdo sci-fi shit that I'll find weak but if it brings the same vibes along the lines of movies like Gravity or 2001: A Space Oddyssey then it can be pretty fucking dope as a new unique show. Just not too much fucking alien shit like Star Trek or something and I'm fine, Firefly is the furthest I can go when it comes to shit like that. But Netflix is known to surprise the crowd, they've been on a serious roll for some time but they have to hit a bump sometime soon which is why HBO or the AMC series might suddenly have something new that's interesting af and get another boom of people registering to their services. I've yet to check out Ozark tho.
not saying AMC and HBO etc. don't have shows now but they're for the most part already established and it's rare something new comes out with the same impact as a lot of the shows on Netflix. Probably due to having Marvel on their side and just pushing series out left and right.
