i think there should be some form of federal government tho, but strictly militarily, which could even be a treaty/alliance deal. like nato, each state agrees to defend all other states. im just not a fan of kansas telling new york how to live, and vice versa. the federal government shouldnt enforce shit like that. if alabama doesn't want gay marriage, they shouldn't be forced to. if california wants open borders, let them, but don't make texas have open borders if they dont want. single payer health care? have at it. privatized health care lets gooo. etc

everything should be dictated at the state level when it comes to all social shit and all entitlement things
