you think that u just stopped practicing out of random laziness? no man. the negativity catches up to you. the correlation of your life going to shit I would be more inclined to attribute to the effects of the built up negativity making itself available, you quitting the practice was just another casualty of the overwhelming subconscious negativity finally being realized...and not a root causation of your failure as you have labeled it.
