its a clusterfuck we should be nowhere near. if we were to get involved i would prefer to help assad like the russians are. not further destabilize another region in the middle east

this all started with the arab springs shit right. like egypt and all of them uprising and protesting/revolting. syria wanted to do the same and throw out the assad regime, assad was like wtf how about you die instead. so assad's been fighting rebel syrians trying to overthrow his rule this whole time. we were talking about intervening and shit when chemical weapons were allegedly being used, but the american people were fed up with iraq and afghanistan and didnt want to put troops in another place. but we've been bombing them anyways under the veil of hitting isis targets

russia comes in and is helping fight the rebels, and isis.

the world is like wtf they're bombing bakeries and hospitals, but those bakeries and hospitals are supporting the rebels

meanwhile you have tons of refugees fleeing because they don't want to fight right?
