Since I can't make threads, I figured I'd give this worthless thread some life.
TO ALL COMIC KIDS:
Was just watching x men apocalypse which isn't my favorite of the series but was a huge fan of the cartoon from the 90s. And even tho I was never an avid comic reader, I did have a few comics growing up and since super hero movies have gotten popular it's been interesting to compare comic documentation to the film adaptations.
My question is this: is magneto an "alpha" or "omega" mutant? I've been reading online that there's no real documentation he is I always thought in terms of the original x men universe magneto was only rivaled by Charles and Jean grae? In fact, I don't recall anyone besides Phoenix actually fucking with dude. I understand the comics have been running for almost 40 years but magneto was like THE illest dude forever.
In this new movie apocalypse enhanced storms press, arch angel, and psilocke. But when it came to magneto he just took him to Auschwitz and let him recognize his true power. Just made me feel like I was 5 again and dude is still the fucking man.
