Alvarez was the best possible matchup for McGregor among high level lightweights. It's his best weight class. Ferguson would be a more fun and winnable fight for him, but I think Khabib does basically what he did to Johnson tonight. At featherweight, Aldo rematch and Holloway rematch need to happen. Rumors are a McGregor-Woodley match, but I don't think welterweight is a good idea. The size differences with top WW's would be ugly.

Diode, BJ easily beat Caol Uno for the LW belt but it was called a draw and the division was serendipitously closed immediately after. BJ then went back and won the welterweight title, so simultaneous belts should have happened already.
