you are paying for peoples welfare checks/food stamps/housing, you can criticize trump for not paying sure, but to say its worse is retarded when those people aren't paying, and are taking.

also since making this thread i guess its like since he lost 965 million or some ungodly amount back in 96 or whenever, he is exempt from paying federal taxes for X amount of years, its not like he's gaming the system, he's lost enough money to have not had to pay legally

as far as the veteran situation even if he sold all his companies, real estate holdings, and gave all his liquid money to the government, it would do nothing to help the vets. it'd be a tiny blip to government funds, and they would still be portioned how it is now. him talking about helping vets is in actual policies that divert more funds to those things

the main reason i'm more libertarian than liberal is because the government has proven time and time again that it is completely inefficient at running itself. it consistently spends more money then it takes in and it consistently spends it in areas that benefit the few in a way that doesn't make sense to the many at all. whether its republican democrat you name it. the system itself is fucked

i'm not under any delusions that trump will somehow take his "business mind" and right the ship. its too far gone. obama should have let it implode. instead he bought some time by bailing out the same people who got us into the mess. but its inevitable. blow up the machine and rebuild.

with any luck trump can at least be a wrench that clogs it up for 4 years. and maybe he can repeal some nonsense

if he gets in and gets absolutely nothing new done, and stops anything new from being done it will be a victory for america lol. best case scenario he gets in and does something like repeal the failure that is obamacare but i don't even see that happening
