In awe, at the wonders of the world,
The Loch Ness monster in a pearl.
Giza pyramids that allow you to see the infinite
Sarcophagus therein hold the seed of innocence.
The journey into the gardens of Babylon
Exhibiting the carnage from Satan’s tongue.
Where Nebuchadnezzar portrayed his thoughts
And a glimpse of the lord’s face was caught.
Salar de Uyuni the geographical mirror
Reflecting beyond the physical figure.
This terra’s hypnotizing mind games
Beautiful selenite mines and ice caves.
The world functions, unconscious.
Nature is a homunculus concept.
Behold the pattern of nothingness
Try to fathom how darkness is positive.
Pangea’s catharsis, parted its continents
Yet, unimaginable wonders still remain
Byproducts of when the Earth suffered only pain.
Inhale the fragrant scent of wisteria flowers.
Feel the bamboo’s forest mysterious power.
The most beautiful woman pales in comparison…
Immortalized sites where cells stop perishing.

Feeling hedonistic standing beside Zeus’s statue.
Is this really how the Olympian God looked at you?
Summon the goddess in Artemis’s temple,
The mere sight becomes part of my vessel
Sanctuary ethos, an exemplar of marvelous venture
Compare that to our endo-carcinogen architecture.
If only Shibazakura fauna could command a will
There’ll be less factories built and more lavender fields
Komodo islands, black forests, and Mount Everest’s.
But, until you see them,
They’re nothing but a background reference.
Colossus of Rhode, Helios’s playground in reverence
Gods used to rule but now we crown degenerates,
Destroying being’s habitats but then frown to terrorists.
Devilish men rhetoric, rejecting Earth’s betterment
Preferring war settlements.
Extracting earth’s elements to finance turf bickering
Is everyone in this new world ignorant?
One’s surroundings shape the path one’s on
Sculpt the landscape with atom bombs.
I just want to hide in Alexandria’s catacombs,
And die in the Hellenistic necropolis.
There’s beauty in our apocalyptic megalopolis
But the shapes we imagine are nonetheless infant.
By and large we’re still gripping with our existence.
