He said he 'thought' Hitler waved at him at some point, but he has always been shaky on the details and never actually confirmed it and all evidence points to Hitler not being there at the time...the story of the 'snub' was blown up by the media but Hitler had made a statement condemning the US for including black athletes, so it isn't like he approved lol
