Yea, I agree. My biggest problem with it is that so few superstars actually SELL their characters. Back in the day, from Flair to Hogan to Macho Man to Razor to Shawn Michaels - guys owned their personas and amplified the bravado every time they were on camera. Now, the only guys that sell well are Ambrose, New Day and Owens - everyone else feels like someone playing a character. If they went all in and fuckin screamed in all their promos and engaged the crowd in an over the top way, people would buy in more. What's the hardest part is that it seems like a skill that can be coached, but they've just neglected it.
