Economic stability, generally moderate political views, beneficial social programs without overly burdensome tax systems, and a wide variety of climate and culture, with all the technology and amenities of a first world country. I agree with these sentiments and agree with your choice of Germany

However, Germany's under mad stress right now from the Syrian refugee asylum situation right now. Was talking (recently) with the dean of the engineering college I attended when he was visiting Boston. He basically implied that because of the EU's failure to intervene and deal with the Syrian influx, plus the strain that caring for thousands of homeless&homesick refugees is putting on their culture and economy, meant that nationalistic and isolationist views were starting to really gain traction in a concerning way.


If you do relocate, I very highly recommend Baden-Württemberg
