Machine guns’ blastin the beach, as the town abandons the streets
Time does the damaging deed but that just mechanics the machine
Keeps you unbalanced at least until you get battered & leaned.
As the chapter proceeds the task is met but you can’t even retreat
Look at all you managed to be as the youth become the act you repeat
Scattered by cheap dreams & cheat sheets from satellite leak feeds
The vision is conquest but you only focus matter on these weak leads
