To anyone who knows about these flat earth dummies, what is there explanation for crossing oceans? Like going west and hitting china. And if you go west across asia, and europe and west across the atlantic and your back in north america. Do they explain why that works if the earth is flat?
I had a similair idea for a book, i want to write fantasy but i want it to be like with a modern person in it, i just needed a DEVICE to get there, and it was along the lines of like if you go to the north pole, and keep going north(pretend the earth is a giant cylinder instead of a sphere and our north pole is like in the middle of it) basically if you travel far enough north the snows recede and you are in another worlds south pole. I thought that would be a weird way to put my character self into a land of thuggery. Is it possible @b.o.b. ?
