I dont know 1/4 of the info on that case as i do the tamir case, since this is the first im reading of it, but judging by that article alone i think it was handled perfectly.
As the article said he wasnt brandishing the weapon, meaning he wasnt pointing it at people and menacing them. He had a rifle on his person which isnt illegal. If he was pointing it at people and not his middle finger there would be a reason for hostility on the part of police.
Tamir on the other hand was brandishing a weapon. Pointiing it at people, following them and freaking peope out. Like ive already said i disagree with the police shooting him instantly. But that is a different scenario entirely
