This shit still baffles me to do this day and probably will continue to do so. The company was founded in 1870 or some shit and originates from my small city in Norway, Moss with only a little bit over 30k residents in it. You'd get picked on if you used that kind of clothing, shit was lame af. When I hear Helly Hansen the first that comes to mind is life vests since that's one of the common brands to sell them around here. How their jackets n shit suddenly got popular was a weird surprise and me among others still don't really get it. It would make more sense if Moods of Norway or something like that made it big instead tbh. Nothing to detract from the quality of the jackets tho' but 16 year old me wouldn't wear it in public even if I got paid for it.
