Jeff Bagwell was the best first baseman in the majors over the span of 1993-2004. He has a career slash line of .297/.408/.540/.948. He won an MVP and finished second for another and third for another. He had elite-tier five-year, three-year and one-year peaks. He rates out as a Hall of Famer by four of the five statistics Baseball-Reference uses. JAWS ranks him as the sixth-greatest first baseman ever.
Bad thread.
