those who preached for social reforms to help the plebs were killed. this is before the empire. most people think of emperors and all that nonsense when they think of rome, but when rome was real, was the republic days. even then, when their political system was efficient and largely resembled our own, anyone who stood for social reforms was taking out.

the first dude was killed in broad daylight. the second dude wouldn't leave his house and hired armed guards. his armed guards killed him. the third dude enlisted entire neighborhoods and street gangs and made progress until he was killed. it continued up until julius caesar, who only achieved his means by using an actual army to acquire power and hold it, until ultimately he was knifed in the senate.

people need to wisen up. life is short. the people on minimum wage have it better than any impoverished people have ever had it in history. when you go against the elite you lose and your life was for nothing. keep your head down. do your job. find your happiness. and die. its all a roll of the dice yo
