Uhhh there are exactly 14 out of 32 teams with a .500 or better record this year. There were only 11 before this week.
They beat 4 of them in current standings.
2 other teams would be .500 or better if they hadn't lost to Carolina.
So that's 6 .500+ teams they beat, and 5 under .500.
