wayne didnt get the respect from nerds till the carter and shit like that, and he can definately spit. he absolutely throws out corny one liners, but alot of the same people who say that blow eminem when his are infinitely worse, because as cake pointed out waynes delivery and flow makes them acceptable. they keep the structure of his verse going while extending it with some shit. meanwhile eminem will drop a corny one liner and stand behind it fully with adlibs like BOOYAH, like dare i say a cornball.

i don't even listen to any wayne. i fuck with the block is hot because it was embedded in my early years memories. but as someone who literally listens to no lil wayne for pleasure, i can easily put him in my top 10 because i recognise his skills across the board
