you're gonna have to learn to pick and choose your battles, and you're also gonna have to learn that you're the one that's not in control. also, when it comes down to arguing, don't get stuck in the trap of trying to prove that you're right about anything. what's important is that you clearly express how a particular action or set of words made you FEEL. Not that you're right, but you have feelings about whatever. it'll help you avoid a lot of bullshit fights, where she'll somehow flip something unrelated on you and make you sleep on the couch.
lastly, it's best to raise your standard a little, and try to keep tidy. eventually she'll get mad and say you clean like a boy (which isn't good enough) and she'll take over, but you'll be responsible for vacuuming, doing the dishes, taking out the trash, and opening up pickle jars.
