I blew my knee out going for a high kick that got caught. I lost balance and went down bad on my standing leg. Popped out or something. Went to the doctor, he was like "Yeah, shit's strained homie. Don't train for a few months".
It's not about a year and a half later and it still pops out every now and again. It goes straight back into place and isn't sore anymore, but a few months? Shit sucks. A lot of mental issues as well with it. Hard to throw right kicks knowing my left knee is so weak.
I'm shite at lifting though. I'm not lifting 200lbs, despite being about 200lbs myself. I guess lifting your own bodyweight isn't easy but I'm still a bit off from it. That's just bench though. Cause of my knee I wasn't able to squat or deadlift for a while so I've just been doing things like bench and overhead and things. Dunno how much I lift after a few weeks off now.
