Anyways, I'm not going to bother doing write ups (at least not for the next few days), but I'll vote on the polls on RMBVA. There are a lot of solid writers here and I was definitely impressed. But thinking everyone here won every battle...I dunno. That's what I was worried was going to happen, and it's a bit grating as if people here aren't really interested in getting our scene. It's not a big deal, though, and I think the event was definitely far more successful than the one we had with RapBattles.com.

This is the exact reason why actually explaining your votes is important. I feel the exact opposite about the voting on RMBVA. I don't see how you think a poll is less biased than explained bar by bar breakdowns. I don't think it was a site sweep, but the polls on your site definitely seemed a lil biased towards the home team. And I have a harder time trusting those votes, because they are unexplained.
We're not gonna understand whats dope to you guys if you don't explain your shit. I can legit tell you why whoever I thought lost was worse. With examples and reasoning behind it. If you can justify why the other person had a better verse, people can take your explanation into account when they vote on that battle or the next one. It also helps people elevate so they know where they fucked up in their verse or what things people liked.
