wordplay has and always been one of those things thats more of a hindrance to a battle verse than a perk. live or text.
most of the time, even when it isn't "forced" it feels... unnatural, I think is the best way to put it. like it almost always comes across like you tried REALLY hard to make it fit into your verse and that makes it stand out, and not in a good way.
at least in the way it's often done today.. wordplay is at it's best when it's subtle, and simple yet clever.
