The human heart is a curious thing
When it’s injured, outpours arterial bleeds
But, when love presents its immaterial grip
One then experiences the most surreal superior bliss.
In my case, I became awestruck by a war machine,
An android that saw himself as mortal as me.
Griffith was his name, and he meant the world to me
But, our unorthodox love became this world’s envy
So they ordered his decommissioning- deprogramming him
Until, he was just scraps, a soulless inorganic organism
Luckily, before he was reset into default factory settings
I uploaded his essence, his code, into a reactor like weapon.
Fully activated,
I began to tear because I could once again fathom his presence.
Ecstatic, I yell “Oh! My Griffith ask me a question”
