Yes. But that sort of aggressive call to account only works when a relationship has been established. When you're yelling at people who you don't know, haven't met, and don't have any common understanding with, you just come off as a crazy person.
You might say it doesn't matter, but what do the results say. Even when you look at the example set by your favorite role model, Jesus, that's not the way he did things. You might bring up his treatment of the tax collectors in the temple, but I would argue his actions were in defense of the holy place. You never saw Jesus approaching sinners with judgement and condemnation. That was more John the Baptists style. And looking at their ministries... which would you say was more effective?
