Yo Chyeahh... originally I felt the same way as you. But I also observe the reaction that harsh lines get comparatively, and people are generally biased towards the harsher wording. I think this probably has some connection to the roots of text and battling in the dozens, which is basically a diss cypher.

Look at the success of people like ill Nika and Hush who both basically made careers of demoralizing lesser mcs. You dont have to change your style and conform, but it does seem like certain approaches have a better reception, so you might want to take that into account.

Also, I think at this point nobody is taking any of the gun bars or whatever seriously. If you're a regular on an internet text battling site, how bout that life can you be? It's really more about finding creative ways to diss people than threatening them with physical violence.
