That should give 200$ to the host which supports the work dedicated to it IF the host takes care of the mag and make sure everything goes fluently. If the host wants help it should be split 50/50 between them.
I would suggest 150$ to the host or split 75$ on 2 and give free entry to 5 people to take care of the mag, post or update statistics, power rankings and whatnot. If this goes smoothly it should be possible to get sponsors for the next tourney, get a bigger prize pool and possibility for expanding to a 128 man tourney.
Y'all make ''crazy'' threads like merch and shit like this thread but this is for sure possible with the right marketing and planning.

I'm not a fan of buy in tourneys but I'm against pocketing money from tourneys. all for pursuing advertising and even some merchandising. We'll see how goes but I think we need a stronger Web presence first. Some kind of magnet site that acts a catchall for search terms the could lead to text sites (like David lama's texcee.org). Make it simple, mobile friendly, one page. @
Diode how much would that cost? We could try to create internal funding
