Also, going by your example, how come it didn't work out the same as others treated similarly in other parts of the world?

what do you mean? like how come other enslaved peoples throughout history didnt become physical specimens?
because they weren't treated as well as african american slaves
BLAOW SHOTS FIRED
but nah outside of american slavery i only really know about the roman treatment of slaves. they worked 6 days a week, and on their day off they could work for their own money, and save to buy their own freedom. the majority of physical slaves were sent to mines, and other short lived harsh terrible work, where they worked to death basically. slaves that were actively bred tended to be bred for looks, temperment and intelligence. it was kind of the opposite basically. they wanted house slaves, and attendents and dudes who could read, write, entertain them and shit. they'd send their slaves to greece to be educated and basically have them run the entire affairs of their household and shit.
meanwhile in america it was like 99 percent farm labor. slaves were bought and selectively bred based off size and health. the big strong women with the big strong men. while they couldnt buy their own freedom to my knowledge, because they didnt get days off, they did have their own place on the plantation, and their own gardens, their own chickens (no racism) and shit, so its not like they wanted for anything, except the freedom to not do backbreaking work in the sun
but word
you gotta remember a generation is basically 30 years, so 1600's to late 1800's is like what 8 generations of slaves basically, each generation doing the backbreaking work in the southern heat, and each successive generation having come from the biggest and best workers
if this type of thing happened elsewhere i will admit my ignorance, but link me to it.
no one really bred humans like america did
