word, i don't rap but i do beats and release tapes

i've made ones where its like the first 15 beats i like i put it out, but the quality is much better when you have to cut tracks you actually like. i try and do double whatever i'm releasing and take a few days cutting tracks from it

so you're left with your best shit that you like after multiple listens

also the shit you cut you can hold onto for filler in something else or just release it on its own to keep people interested between projects
