Why would you think 'skits' are a good idea in the first place?
I don't even know how a skit would take place for a soulful mixtape either
you remember Joe...you know "I wanna knowwww" that guy
didn't he have a skit in the video before the song...what was that shit?
anyway...I think mixtapes are fun if you make it into a themed type of idea
but if you are just going for a random set up of songs like one moment your like
"Tell me what you need, facial mask, cucumber seeds" or whatever then...
"Up in the club, drunk, bitch what what..." then "emmooottttiiiiooooonnnnnnssssss"
that's just not a soulful approach, that's mixed messages opposite of what you want to do...
but word I don't know what the mixtape is supposed to be so lol...
