a portal of shame, some endorphines; cocaine. boiled & forced in my veins
I close my eyes- palms to my face, digging a grave where the soils been laid
see its more than a source for my pain; hit record then let the cassette tape play
and watch all the stress ive made dissipate when i accept my turmoil & change.
theres a lesson displayed, conveying all the stupid poor excuse ive made.
the fact ive had mortal bruises evaded where mortars loomed in our bases
..troups wounds escalating, visiting the chapel and reverend on a noon daily basis
confused at this stasis, and how my life is in the most difficult of places
at times i find myself wishing that i wasnt so stubborn and faithless
maybe then id be capable of some greatness.. something amazing
...but cant because im scared.
