Hush: What do you think would help to make this site better/more active?

Sho: Shit we need to bring the niggas that was dope from other sites and see how good they do against the comp we have here. I've been to plenty of sites busting niggas heads open and dusting they best battlers off in the name of Netcees. I'd love to see Barcotic Aero and $pit come over here and throw bars around with our top talent and get active. It would be dope if this site was like a magnet site for people to come prove themselves like how BragginWrites and BBoys used to be. We'll see what heads Summer Classic bring back though.


Hush: What new ideas would you like to see in text battling? ( this includes tournaments, rule changes, ways to improve the format, or any random thoughts you got )

Sho: 1. I been texting since I was like 14 and I was wack as fuck but one thing that I could say is that it was definitely fun. I got my I guess "big break" if you wanna call it that when I got into a pros vs joes type tourney and beat Oneduh and Nik. Since then I been getting better until I'm now top 5 on the site, I say that to say this... we need another Pros vs Joes Tourney if done right some new talent can emerge. Then we don't have to keep looking for the same damn people to battle each other to see good bars...

2. Something else I could see that would be dope is if we put the blind voting shit in effect like RB. I didn't like it at first but after like 2 weeks I thought it was awesome. The high ranked names over there were getting dropped cause niggas actually had to vote for who won not who the popular or top niggas voted for. Sometimes niggas be scared of being told that they're stupid for not voting like how everyone else voted one the battle. And then the votes get revealed at the end of the week.

3. Kind of going off of the first idea I had... I remember when crews used to make text sites fun as fuck, beefing with each other and whooping each other ass to see who was the top crew, niggas jumping ship, crews throwing up collabs and shit and also Crew Battle Tourneys for titles. Iunno man shit used to be so fun back in the day now you just log in drop ur bars call somebody a faggot vote then log back off... shit is boring.

Hush: What got you into text battling and why did you choose that name?

Sho: I got into text just cause I like rappin and I'm always writin bars down in my phone when I think of some shit, and some of these bars if you say em on a track niggas gonna be like "shut up dork" but its funny on here its hot cause u niggas is nerds. This shit is really a hobby for me when I don't have shit to do and need to burn some time but I been doing it for years I can't lie i've seen it all bro. The story behind my name is pretty simple... when I first started texting as a teenager my name was Sho Stopa... I used to get destroyed all over the place under that name while I was still figuring out how to be good at this text shit... Once I started to get batter and actually taking top names out KungFuGrip used to go over my bars and help me format them to hit even harder. He took me under his wing no homo but that was my nigga he was cool as fuck... anyway once I started really getting my punches to do damage it was around the time Murda Mook battled Serious Jones I thought that battle was so dope... After that battle I dropped the Sho Stopa name and made it murda sho. So no it has nothing to do with a "Murder Show" you wack asses who keep tryna turn that into a punch against me.


Hush: What do you think about the blind opponent format of Shadow Boxing? ( meaning you dont know who your writing for )

Sho: I think its a fresh idea just to see who can make the better general bars, i've never seen anything like it before so I commend u on the creativity. Its dope cause niggas can't lean on personals or nameplays they actually have to know how to punch which a lot of people don't.



Hush: Who is your fav rapper? Who is your fav battle rapper? What league do your prefer? (if you dont watch battle rap why)

Sho: Favorite rappers are a toss up between A$AP Rocky and Earl Sweatshirt... Favorite battle rapper is kind of bias cause my actual cousin is K Shine from the URL so I gotta say him first... thats why I say Zip Em Up after all my verses no I'm not dickriding thats my damn family... but I fuck with Lux, Rex, Head Ice, BMagic, Ty Law and Chess. Favorite leagues is URL and WeGoHard... I like the street ass leagues.. KOTD and Don't Flop are cool and fun to watch sometimes but they just don't have that "you can get shot soon as u go outside" feel... thats the battle rap feel haha

Sho: Stop with the fuckin racist shit I really don't see how that shit is funny, i've never made a racist joke about any of you punks cause I don't find ANY of them funny for any race or religion... but Kar already ranted about that so I don't have to. Oh yea before I end this lemme say something... STOP frontin... stop tryna rap like us gun bar niggas when thats NOT how you rap... y'all niggas are getting y'all asses kicked where it should of been close or you shoulda won cause you think its cool to try to make gun bars, STOP... I been doing gun bars forever and I'm prolly the best at the shit but thats cause its how i rap... stop with the "changing your style" to a gun bar every bar or other bar verse cause y'all bars be corny as fuck and losing the battles for you where you should have won. Some people are good at it some aren't... I'm not gonna name the names who are good but you should know if you not a gun bar type dude keep it funky with yourself and perfect your craft and stop copying us niggas who perfected ours.
