I'm not reading all this but here's the basic stance
-extending ANYTHING past 24 hours is just asking for the league to be offset a week. That's some weak shit that turned the start of last season into a mess. We only do that with champ matches because champing by NS doesn't count for the winner and it's not fair to hold them up when it's beyond their control. Plus noshowing champ matches is weak
-Double noshows are worth giving an L over because a noshow is worth giving an L over. You can straight up cancel your battle if both people don't want to show and make it known ahead of time, but otherwise everyone else can be assuming you'll show and planning accordingly. We want to negatively reinforce noshowing so we'll keep giving out L's.
As far as spree v zelph, spree dropped numbers an hour before the deadline. Zelph dropped them after. It's not fair to spree to have functionally won by NS then go... Eh. Extensions are 24 hours. Not 24ish hours. We'll look the other way if it's 2 verses dropped after the deadline but if we're well into Saturday that battle is open or done.
With murda v Lotto I've never been a fan of people needing explicit permission to get extensions. If that were the case @
Maximus would've lost by ns this week as well and plenty of other cases like it would've ended without a battle. You can deny the extension, it's your right, but if we make it so you HAVE to wait on your opponents approval, you could have people waiting well past the point they could've started writing because if they don't get that approval, it's a noshow and a complete waste of their time
If you really don't like it, feel free to run a league on your own. We can always talk logic and rules like Des is doing (you're making points worth considering @
Destroyer but right now there's a lot of shit to read) but being petty, passive aggressive and whiny won't get a god damn thing done.
And @
Killing Spree I'll make a note of that for next week thanks
