Tic Tac:

Thought you had a strong start. The Perseus line was a dope concept. Scoop J was nice, prob my fav line honestly, just had a good structure and hit hard to me. The Duggar line was a solid concept, I thought you could have ended the concept in a better way, but still it hit for me. I didn't quote the Akon line, because Light You Up is a pretty overused concept, even if you do flip it with a current event. Basically felt the same way about your closer, the toast/gun flips have been done, and the veteran/soldier aspect wasn't complex enough to make me look past that. All in all, it was a solid verse, and the 1st 2 lines were dope. Scoop J was sick. The only real bad whiff imo was the Perspective line.

Junto:

The White Walker line was nice. Obviously Walker lines have been done a lot, but I haven't seen a lot of Game of Thrones lines, so I thought it was nice. The Tic/Lime disease line was pretty good too. Nice correlation, even if it's obvious, it's too perfect not to use. The distance line was pretty funny, good misdirection. The back deck line was kinda funny, but I just didn't think it connected very well. Flowering line was solid. I almost quoted the slaps tic line, thought it was a little too wordy and not executed as well as it could be. Still, fresh nameplay as far as what I've seen.

This was a pretty nice battle. The way Tic started I thought for sure Junto wouldn't be able to beat it, but then he dropped his level after the 1st 2 bars. I think Junto was more consistently creative and humorous here.. and his misses weren't quite as bad, and were def more creative. Had Tic not used the Light You Up and Perspective lines, and had something a little more solid he could have grabbed my vote here.

V/Junto
