but cosign to the weird fritos smell. they also taste like pure oil and salt if you eat a few. that said im obviously only referencing the regular kind. the honey bbq twists are my go to if its frito time.
but as to the topic at hand, i'm sure they are excellent for dipping. when i make tacos, i forego the tacos for plain fritos. i just cut up lettuce (tomato if you want too) make a bed of fritos, i sort of crush them before throwing them in a bowl. throw the lettuce on that, put a bunch of taco meat on that, sprinkle on cheese and taco sauce and mix it all up and its perfection. has every texture needed and is flavorful as shit. the crunch of the dry fritos mingling with the crunch of the wet lettuce, mingling with the meat sauciness of the beef, mingling with the gooeyness of the melty cheese.
its cheap easy and hits your gut like a billion pounds.
i also like plain fritos if i got leftover sloppy joes with no buns. eating a sloppy joe on bread is blasphemy. but if you sprinkle some cheese on it, and use the fritos scoops to scoop some. shits bomb.
the key to plain fritos is obviously masking them with flavorful other shit. so i can envision geno's excitement lol.

although like most midwestern white americans i'm a fan of basically every chip.
i also don't like pickles, but enjoy lays pickle chips. but thats like a guilty pleasure every now and then chip.
