i support myself and my father on 10 dollars an hour in the climate of now.

if we raise the minimum wage nationwide to some ridiculous sum like 15 dollars like i've seen DUMBASSES saying around the net, whether thats an agenda or just facebook nonsense i dont know, but lets say that happens

just in the small business i work for alone, between me and one other employee, my employer would basically be shelling out enough to hire another person. if i phrased that right.

basically me and another kid make 10 an hour. which is almost 3 dollars above minimum wage in ohio. if he has to pay us both 15 an hour AT THE LEAST, he's basically paying another make believe employee. he doesn't get the extra labor another person gives him.

and thats just us, everyone would have to be on a scale, and in turn they would have to charge more for every job they take on

the prices of everything in every facet of business would have to be raised as well to compensate

and then me as a ten dollar an hour plebian, i get knocked down to "minimum wage" i'm making what 15 year olds are at mcdonalds, and everything around me is that much more expensive

raising the minimum wage in essence is like a PAY CUT for anyone who's actually worked themselves above it
