Yeah, I'm not saying there's no relevance to the doomsayers but you gotta think for yourself bro. Debt is an issue, stock volatility is an issue, the superstructure governing education law and corporations is an issue. But the system is now a living, breathing, malleable entity. It cannot and will not collapse without a huge structural design waiting to take its place for the majority or for those who currently wield the reins of power. To say anarchy will occur is absurd because an absence of government (which will not happen anytime soon) will lead to smaller communal systems which create governing systems in and of themselves. Who's to say that won't be worse? Gonna have psychopaths on some Walking Dead shit. Not saying you think it's better but it's just not gonna happen barring like, nuclear warfare or some other jarring event that puts humanity itself on the brink. People have been thinking NYC is gonna blow up since the cold war. It's prob not happening anytime soon.
