it's just a completely different record tbh, in style, sound, and scope. really hard to compare the two, but the more I listen to Pimp a Butterfly, the harder it gets for me to temper my enthusiasm for it. I have to consciously stop myself from calling it "genius" and "brilliant." It's so layered.
