I have no problem with the jokes about things like that as long as they are not being said to someone who knew the deceased and had a personal relationship with them, cuz that's behavior that'll get you hurt or even killed around here...it's something that was hammered in to my brain never to do from a very young age.
The only time I got truly upset when a celebrity died was Robin Williams, cuz that's my guy...that's my childhood. Otherwise, it's really just another person you didn't really know...although I guess we do form bonds of sorts with TV personalities and such but to act like you're grieving when they die is a bit far fetched.
