you know that crazy thing about flacco having bad games?

you don't think that its because in those games there is no running game, and they get way behind and are forced to play catch up?

but oh yea, you guys think the qb should be able to just go in and throw 50 times and complete 40 of them and get 500 yards and 3 scores right. thats what the good ones do right.

go look at any qb who had a game like that this year, and look at how many yards they rushed for.

then factor in the fact that the ravens entire offense revolves around the run. they aren't a shitty team like atlanta that has a spread offense and prefer to sling the ball around. if the run game doesnt work, the pass game is gonna struggle. its built around play action

flacco is under center more than ANY other qb in the league.

take into account the year we won the super bowl we ran a ton of shotgun sets with caldwell, who took over from cam camerons power run which slowly evolved into some west coast weirdo shit that got him the boot.

but it transformed into one of those passing offenses with alot of shotgun work, and he led the team to a ring.

the defense was mediocre at best that year, the run game COMPETENT ENOUGH.
