i think i had mako, i was really young tho. like 7. when i lived in florida. my pops caught it was a little one, like 2 and a half feet long, not sure if that messes with the taste, and i only had one bite, but i remember it to this day cuz the head was chilling on a cutting board and my pops was like try this.
i remember it was more like a poultry, consistency than a fish consistency, but it had the fish tang to it
