I just think it's pointless....and will be divisive if anything, a lot of people will interpret it as "HEY LOOK AT TTHE LITTLE BLACK CHILD, THIS IS BETTER THAN YOUR EVIL WHITE DEVIL SLAVE OWNING ANNIE, ISN'T THE LITTLE BLACK GIRL CUTE???? YOU BETTER SAY YES YOU RACIST PIECE OF SHIT...HER SKIN TONE MAKES IT SPECIALER!!!!"

I'm NOT saying this is the message, or that I agree with that, but people will pick it up that way and it's just gonna create more friction if anything. Movies with black children won't help anything...make a movie about income inequality, about the war on drugs aka the war on poverty aka the war on minorities, about countless things that might make people think.

On the flip side tho if someone is getting really mad at it they may be racist, because it isn't something that matyers much, but I can see it causing friction and acheiving nothing in return.
