no one is saying life aint out there. but alot of people ignorantly think that "oh if the planet is close enough to its star to support life there could be life!"

but you gotta also realize other factors. the earths orbit is only so steady because of the moon. without the moon we would have a much larger difference in our orbit, coming closer to the sun, and going out farther depending on where we're at during the year or whatever. also we have JUPITER. it is our major saving grace. when considering the universe you have to think in millions upon millions of years for life to develop WHERE WE ARE today. from the first little germs in the ocean to higher primates like ourselves. JUPITER is a giant gravitational vaccuum for most asteroids that enter our solar system. without it we would be pummeled MUCH more frequently than we know of in our history, and already AT LEAST once we've been hit by an asteroid that was a major extinction event.

so for another planet to even support life it needs COUNTLESS different variables to even be earthlike YO

we also ignorantly believe a planet needs earthlike conditions to support life, when in reality we found organisms in that crazy acid pool swamp thing, i forget where its on earth word but it doesnt need oxygen and water and shit its supported by the chemicals in the toxic soup of its enviornment.

so like i said before, no one is discounting that alien life exists. it would be retarded to discount that considering the size of the universe.

but what you also forget IS THE SIZE OF THE UNIVERSE. we can go to mars.

BUT WE CANT COME BACK.

mars is like one step on a walk from where im sitting to los angeles, if your considering leaving our SOLAR SYSTEM, and going to another WITHIN OUR OWN GALAXY.

DO THE FUCKING KNOWLEDGE.

and dont come talking about wormholes and other BULLSHIT. because thats what it is. and dont talk about light speed travel, because nothing can survive it, and even at lightspeed we wouldnt be able to get anywhere that could support us with what is known about neighboring solar systems and our own galaxy

and thats not even to mention ROAMING black holes, super novas which can happen at any time. etc

the universe has a billion ways to destroy life

intelligent life to our knowledge, has absolutely no way of traveling out to distant galaxies

all of that is science fiction mumbo jumbo, and people believe it like its a religion. they dont wanna hear sense. they stick to their beliefs. and thats what they are, beliefs. not fact.
