by which I mean, if Jesus the person did exist, I will not even entertain the thought he was the son of god, his message was anti-establishment, he wanted to overthrow the governing powers, he wanted to help the poor rise up, he wanted equality for all and he lived a life demonstrating that, again IF.
The way he as a symbol and an icon is used today does not reflect that.
