The Skyscrapers Scraping The Heavens
Moonlight drops like ink to a page and I progress
deep in thought but not deep enough to depress
a gesture met by it's own flow from fingertip to wrist
leading the way as the two united fall into an abyss
falling solemnly on unspoken dialect, those whom I affect
"To the truth" I say to the cameraman in who I direct..
silence, ease into the single tear that falls & rises as the tide
for this is when the magic happens & we put the surprises aside
view upon it's decadence as though to tease the senses
waft in the beauty captured in that second, it's pretentious
it's elegant, but immature to the point it's infinite, once endless
once unbound by the realities of today, it stops as nature intended
it breaks down into something bigger, something more tremendous
do you see it..I doubt it
