Plot -- I see what you're saying. Very insightful answer. The "reverse rhyme writing" was the most helpful comment.
I know people work out their ideas over time and put them together within a time limit... but I still think some people post at the last minute so that their battle can't be counter-attacked as well. I mean, if I see what you posted on Monday; and I have until Friday midnight to post... I'm probly gonna rip your shit to threads if I have any talent whatsoever... unless your early post was unbeatable by my talent & ability to structurally rip it up.

sraL -- I see your point as well. Posting early will get more views, but then the response will sound more new and fresh.
I guess it goes both ways, but I see hella people waiting until the last few minutes to post... and thats kind of stupid. I mean, for example, in the newbs tournament, I would have voted on battles prior to the deadline... but since massive power outages affected me for 2 days... after shit was posted, I had little to read & vote/comment on.
I'm gonna keep posting my shit as early as I can, because you never know what can come up in life and prevent you from posting @ last minute. If they want to take my lines and shred them to pieces, thats cool.
I want to get more into topicals. I'm not sure how to do so. I feel like battles generates some negativity, even though I am humble, it effects me... especially after all of the flaming. I still remain humble, but if I'm gonna battle... I'm definitely gonna battle the best I can, which may not be good enough for people here... since I use 1-2 syllable rhymes... what they lack to see is that words all over the place can rhyme, and if you spit it the way the writer imagined it being spit... then it could be tight --- vs a reader will read it and not know what the emcee was thinking as far as placement of words on beats.
