Honestly, the fast-forward story arc they are doing for this season pisses me off. They should have just started where they left off last season and made this one a real cliffhanger. With it being the last season, they could really do the series justice by making a nice Scorcese-directed BWE movie and do a proper send off.
Scorcese movies don't flop, and the critics who say this series isn't as good as some of the more popular ones are insane. Boardwalk Empire is right up there with Walking Dead to me. Fuck HBO for canceling this. First Deadwood and now this.
